Drawing inspiration from her Curaçaoan roots, her love for vibrant, fresh flavors, and years of culinary adventures, Angelique brings warmth, creativity, and an approachable style to every dish and workshop she hosts.

Cooking has always been a bonding experience. She grew up cooking alongside her mother. While her mother’s culinary skills weren’t fancy, it was the joy and togetherness in the kitchen that stayed with Angelique.

Later, during her studies in Amsterdam, she discovered fine dining and exceptional ingredients, which sparked her passion for healthy, delicious meals.

Angelique hopes to bring that same warmth, discovery, and joy to every dish she creates at Angelicas Kitchen.

For me, great cooking starts in the garden. Growing my own herbs, vegetables, and fruits is a joyful part of my life and ensures that every dish I make is packed with fresh, wholesome ingredients.

Golf keeps me grounded. It’s my way to relax, refocus, and challenge myself every week. Whether it’s on the course or in the kitchen, I always strive for balance and a bit of fun competition.

From local ingredients to Curaçaoan inspiration, every experience here is infused with warmth, flavor, and a sprinkle of everyday magic.

Our journey started with a simple idea in 1998: gathering friends to cook together. What began as a fun evening with golf buddies evolved into a beloved tradition of themed cooking nights. By 2000, Angelica’s Kitchen officially opened its doors, transforming a historic Hoogstraat property into a lively space where cooking meets connection.

Since then, Angelique has welcomed businesses, local groups, and even cruise tourists to her kitchen, creating experiences people talk about for weeks.

Now, in 2025, Angelica’s Kitchen 2.0 is here: a fresh chapter for an already thriving community hub.
